Updated Urgent Care Hours and Services
Due to staffing shortages and our desire to rebuild and fine-tune our team to better serve our community, Berkeley Dog and Cat will temporarily be closed overnight. This means that we will still be open for urgent care during the day from 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM (depending on our capacity, we may stop receiving patients before 9:00 PM).
Any patients that are hospitalized during the day will need to be transferred to a specialty/emergency 24/7 hospital by the end of the night. For critical patients, we will do our best to stabilize the patient and will then facilitate a transfer to the closest emergency hospital that has the capacity to take in your pet. There will be no staff and no doctor overnight on the premises. We apologize for any inconvenience.
We recommend that you call our hospital first before coming down for urgent care to check our capacity level. If we feel that it is in the best interest for your pet to be seen at a 24/7 emergency/specialty hospital, we will direct you there.
