Avians and Exotics

For over 65 years, Berkeley Dog & Cat has been at the forefront in providing medical care to the avian and exotic pets of the Bay area. Dr. Ken Harkewicz has been the director of these specialized services since 1997. He provides excellent care and brings his vast knowledge of medicine and husbandry to the Berkeley Dog & Cat team. In addition Dr. Linda Siperstein’s (Dr. Sip’s) special interests are birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, and pocket pets. Both of our excellent doctors compliment each other to create a knowledgeable and compassionate department. Couple this with an excellently trained veterinary team, your exotic or pocket pet will receive the best of care.

Dr. Harkewicz and Dr. Sip are available for teaching and lectures to veterinarians, technicians, & avian/reptile clubs.
