Dr. Carla Johnson
Dr. Johnson grew up in the South Bay Area of Silicon Valley and did her undergraduate education at UC Santa Barbara in biopsychology. She considered going into the field of neurology or psychology but had always wanted to be a veterinarian. She worked as a bartender and waitress to get herself to UC Davis. After veterinary school she did an internship in LA and proceeded to follow that with 12 years of primarily emergency small animal care from South Orange county up to Chico, California. She currently does both general day practice and critical care of small animals. Her special interests are Watercolor painting (Yupo), Vinyasa, Running, and Dressage with her horse Synergy.
Dr. Johnson currently has one curly coated Scottish Fold called Hootie, a small naughty terrier named Tyson, and an equally mischievous Iberian warm blood horse named Synergy.
